One of the most phenomenal events – Fuelfest – has always been in the center of car enthusiasts’ vision. But how was it formed? What factor made it progress quickly? How does it function at all? We are going to answer these questions and break it into several parts.
What is FuelFest?
Fuelfest is an event that broadly highlights glowing automotive products. Multiple super vehicles can be displayed in this car demonstration show. FuelFest car festival was launched by Paul Walker. He was one of the most famous actors from the movie “The Fast & Furious”. His brother Cody Walker and Tyrese Gibson assisted in collaborating and founding Fuelfest. It seems to be made for entertainment purposes.
Nonetheless, its main aim was to raise funds from this event. The goal was to support the organization Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW). This non-profit organization was launched to relieve the damage to those who suffered from various disasters. This organization was also initiated by Paul Walker himself.
A particular portion of the event’s profit will be transferred to ROWW. The event will ensure that participants get the best slice of moments of their lives.
This event was just unfathomable for car enthusiasts. Because it assembled all the high-performance vehicles, including legendary JDM muscle cars. The number of these cars participating in this event exceeds 2,000. Apart from that, these cars will be designed, tuned to make them even more phenomenal.
Originally, it was supposed to be in Tokyo. Yet, its popularity made it extend further. It reached the US destinations (South Florida, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Scottsdale, Mid-Atlantic New Jersey, Dallas-Fort Worth).
Due to the fame of this festival, it was decided to organize it once again in Japan. After thorough negotiations, the co-founder of FuelFest Cody Walker collaborated with Tomoya Ichiraku. He is the CEO of Kamiwaza-Japan. They worked together to help expand this event globally.
The latest event of FuelFest Tokyo Car Festival took place in Fuji International Speedway on November 24th, 2024. Furthermore, FuelFest Tokyo offers enjoyable experiences for motor sport enthusiasts, as it does not restrain itself from demonstrating several vehicles. But it has also established special context. This includes a street drag race (a length of 200 meters) and the paddock for organizing a car drift contest. The event features “The Fast & Furious” celebrities meet-up. It also includes a VIP car demo run. There is an intense parade containing top vehicles.
What is so fascinating about FuelFest?
Not only does it show high-performance vehicles in action, but participants are recommended to enjoy delicious carnival food and drinks. They can watch live performances of top cars from the stage. The place is equipped with a stadium, akin to how football fans watch the game in a stadium. Attendees can take their friends and get an opportunity to relax altogether during this event. In the last event, the number of those who participated in this event reached 100,000. It just shows how appealing it is to be a part of this community.
A music stage, a car exhibiting movies, and categorized food and drink options are also available for everyone. I can literally guarantee that this demonstration show will give you a taste of cool cars. Participants of this event can enjoy the exhaust sounds. It’s just like scenes from “The Fast & Furious” with their engines roaring under the hood. It’s incredibly fun to watch yourself or drivers race diverse vehicles on a circuit. Meanwhile, others can enjoy a delicious cuisine on the other side of this event.
Apart from the co-founder of FuelFest Cody Walker, there will be several actors from “The Fast & Furious” franchise. Sung Kang is known as Han in the movie. Tyrese Gibson plays Roman Pearce in the movie. They will participate in this event.
Program overview
Besides that, organizers created a session for attendees to get signs from these popular characters. Some attendees can take a look at this session from the Grand Stand. In this session, 10 reserved seat owners will get signs. They will also have memorable experiences by having a small conversation with these actors. Also, 10 attendees from Grand Stand are also able to take photos with celebrities.
There is also a session called “show car area.” Cars possessing powerful engines with roaring sounds will be installed in one place. Visitors can check them by approaching some models.
A 0-200 meter street drag race is scheduled to take 2 hours. In each round, 2 cars will compete by running faster than each other.
Afterwards, Demo-Run session will show a total number of 250 vehicles that are divided into 5 categories: 1) VIP Show car – 90 vehicles; 2) Supercars – 20 vehicles; 3) Movie cars – 20 vehicles; 4) Railroad cars – 10 vehicles; 5) Show cars – 100 vehicles will run in order.
One of the most iconic models that is going to be placed in this event is Batmobil Tumbler. With its unprecedented design and unique outlook, it is comprehensive to adjust it to mere installation. But, if you drive this model, you would definitely recognize how fast it can actually be on the road.
This car would seem familiar to you if you watched “Gulf Midnight.” The real Porsche 930 Turbo, also known as “Blackbird,” will be set up for demonstration in the Porsche corner. A car with blitzing speed is equipped with a powerful engine releasing 600 horsepower. Even though it seems outdated, it still takes part in races.
1972 Datsun 240Z from “The Fast & Furious 10” will also be there. A famous “Yellow Corvette Mongoos” will be set beside all of these vehicles.
Besides everything else, there will be a special occasion. You can win special guest benefits at Don Quixote’s booth.
Participating fees are charged according to your preference. You need to remember that you must travel to this event by bus or by your own car.
